The Application and Survey Process:

1 Submit an application

After receiving the Standards and Interpretive Guidelines Manual, begin a self-assessment process on your current operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance to standards

Prepare requested documents and send to SAS to commence Desk Top Survey.

Survey Team captain will discuss Desk Top Survey with agency and schedule Site Survey.
5
Site Survey is completed and Desk Top and Site Surveys are compiled for final report and submission to Accrediting Commission.


Note: Attendance at an SAS educational program is strongly recommended and will assist one or more of your staff in the interpretation of standards and in organizing a successful accreditation.
